Being involved in this space allowed Lauren the opportunity to find the most invigorating and exciting artwork and artists in Detroit. She took this role very seriously, dedicated hundreds of hours of work into the success of the gallery and the artists showing in it. Hard work pays off-- it earned the Whitdel Gallery the title of Best of Detroit 2012 by the Detroit Metro Times, WDET Radio interviews and several other press acknowledgments and recognition.
